e si presenta:
Cari compagni membri del Wcer
Noi, Eldaring e V. - The Troth Germania, ci siamo di recente uniti a voi nel WCER. Credo che una breve presentazione sia d'obbligo.
Eldaring si è unito al Wcer per sostenere e partecipare a quello che crediamo sia un movimento importante e molto promettente. Apprezziamo il lavoro del Wcer e offriamo quanto aiuto possiamo dare.
La decisione di iscriversi è stata presa il 13 settembre durante il nostro secondo miting annuale. La mozione è stata approvata con una sola astensione.
Eldaring è stato fondato nel 2000 come un ramo tedesco di The Troth (un gruppo pagano internazionale con base negli USA). Da allora siamo cresciuti fino ad avere più di 100 membri e siamo diventati più indipendenti (anche se collaboriamo ancora da vicino con The Troth e seguiamo gli stessi principi). Eldaring ha membri soprattutto in Germania, Austria e Svizzera, ma anche alcuni in USA e in altri paesi. Parecchie sezioni locali sono state fondate o si stanno formando attualmente.
Seguiamo il sentiero dei nostri antenati germanici. Seguiamo il culto degli Aesir, Dei e DEE dell'Europa Antica settentrionale e centrale. Rifiutiamo qualsiasi tentativo di sfruttare la nostra religione a scopi politici o razzisti. Siamo un'organizzazione esclusivamente religiosa e non politica. Per citare il preambolo del nostro statuto:
"Ancora una volta è venuto il tempo di raccogliere quella gente chiamata alla terra e al cielo, che si meravigliano davanti alla maestà delle montagne e alla profonda bellezza delle foreste e alla vastità del mare. E' venuto il tempo di affondare profondamente le radici di quella gente nobili e vere e che i nostri rami possano di nuovo sfiorare i cieli. Questo è il tempo dell'Antica Verità tempo per questa fede e questo modo di sorgere ancora dai cuori di tutti gli uomini e le donne tra e della gente. Adesso riuniamoci per forgiare di nuovo il martello del nord, quel martello costante e risoluto che è la nostra Verità.
Le vie dei veri uomini e donne sono molte.
The Troth promuove una molteplicità di approcci agli DEI e alle DEE dal momento che le realtà di queste persone sono molte e hanno molti livelli di verità. Chiediamo quindi che quelli che si uniscono a noi lo facciano per ragioni religiose e culturali e rispettino gli altri che hanno fatto lo stesso. L'uso di The Troth, delle sue pubblicazioni, o delle sue attività come piattaforme per propaganda politica o razziale non sarà tollerato."

I propositi e gli scopi di Eldaring sono:
-Di rivivere e praticare la religione dei nostri antenati, di raccogliere e diffondere conoscenza riguardo la storia, la cultura e la religione degli antichi popoli germanici.
- Di istruire i nostri membri per favorire e fornire le abilità necessarie per soddisfare i bisogni religiosi dei Pagani odierni.
- Di fornire una piattaforma di comunicazione e di collaborazione tra individui e gruppi, basata sulle idee religiose piuttosto che sulle convinzioni politiche.
- Di collaborare a livello nazionale e internazionale con altre organizzazioni tolleranti, non politiche che lavorino per una rivisitazione pacifica e per la conservazione delle religioni Etniche e delle tradizioni popolari.
- Di creare e sostenere conoscenza pubblica su e accettazione verso religioni Pagane/Etniche e di ridurre i pregiudizi basati sull'abuso della religione e della cultura da parte di estremisti politici nel passato e nel presente.
Siamo felici che il Consiglio del Wcer abbia ritenuto Eldaring valido per l'ammissione. Vorremmo offrire la nostra amicizia e collaborazione a tutti i gruppi e i membri individuali del Wcer.

ELDARING
Dear fellow WCER members,
we, the Eldaring e.V. -
The Troth Germany, have recently joined you in the World Congress
of
Ethnic Religions. I believe a short introduction is due.
The
Eldaring has joined the WCER to support and participate in what we
believe is an
important and very promising movement. We appreciate
the WCER's work and offer what help
we can give.
The
decision to apply was made on September 13th during our second
annual member meeting.
The vote was passed with only one member
abstaining.
The Eldaring was founded in 2000 C.E. as a German
branch of The Troth (an international
heathen group, based in the
USA). We have since grown to a size of slightly over 100 members
and
become more independent (although we are still cooperating closely
with The Troth and
follow the same principles). The Eldaring has
members mainly in Germany, Austria and
Switzerland, but also a few
in the US and other countries. Several local kindreds have
been
founded or are forming at the moment.
We follow the path of
our Germanic ancenstors. We worship the Aesir, gods and goddesses
of
ancient Northern and Middle Europe. We reject any attempt to
abuse our religion for political
or racist agendas. We are a
purely religious and non-political organization. To quote
the
preamble of our by-laws:
"The time has come once
again to gather together those folk called to the land and the
sky,
who are awed by the majesty of the mountains and the deep
beauty of the forest and the
vastness of the sea. The time has
come to sink deep the roots of those folk, noble and true,
that
our branches may again brush the heavens. This is the time of the
Elder Troth, time for
this faith and this way to rise again from
the hearts of all men and women in and of the folk.
Come together
now to forge again the Hammer of the North, that steadfast Hammer
which is our
own Troth.
The ways of true men an women are
many. The Troth promotes a multiplicity of approaches to the
gods
and goddesses, for the realities of these wights are many and have
many true levels. We
ask, then, that those who join us do so for
religious and cultural reasons, and respect others
who have done
the same. The use of the Troth, its publications, or its activities
as platforms
for political or racial propaganda will not be
tolerated."

The purpose and aims
of the Eldaring are:
- To revive and practice the religion of
our ancestors, to gather and propagate knowledge
about the
history, culture and religion of the ancient Germanic peoples.
-
To educate our members, to further and provide the abilities needed
to fullfill the
religious needs of modern day heathens.
-
To provide a platform of communication and cooperation between
individuals and groups,
based on religious ideas rather
that political agendas.
- To coopererate on national and
international levels with other tolerant, non-political
groups that work for a peaceful revival and preservation of ethnic
religions and folk traditions.
- To create and support public
knowledge about and acceptance towards heathen / ethnic
religions and to minimize prejudices based on the abuse of religion
and culture by political
extremists in past and
present.
We are pleased the WCER council found the
Eldaring worthy of membership. We'd like to offer
our friendship
and cooperation to all groups and individual members in the WCER.
